Mark Ballard
Personal Real Estate Corporation
Mark is a graduate of UBC Commerce with a degree in Urban Land Economics and a minor in Finance. Having previous experience in property development, construction, and mortgage finance, Mark was able to excel as a Realtor from an early stage.
Mark was awarded Re/Max Master’s Rookie of the Year for the highest sales for a new agent. Further achieving REBGV 10-year Medallion Club, Re/Max Hall of Fame, and Re/Max Lifetime Achievement Awards and named one of the top 100 producers Worldwide in 2012 out of 88,000 realtors in 59 countries.
Mark has always believed that service and giving back to one’s community is important. He is heavily involved in philanthropy and building hospices as an Executive Member of the Sovereign Order of St. John. He has served on numerous community boards, including the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, past President of the West Vancouver Otters swim team, and 9 years on the West Vancouver Community Foundation board. Mark enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience and has done many speaker events such as TEDx West Vancouver and continuous speaker events for youth through Yell Canada.
Mark enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, golf, yoga and hiking. He is also a big supporter of the arts and regularly attends local theater, concerts, and art exhibitions. He is a patron of the arts and culture throughout various communities.
James Barnes
Licensed Realtor
James joined the Ballard360 Team as a licensed Realtor after he graduated from the University of Calgary, where he earned a degree in Urban Studies. During his degree, James studied the processes behind sustainable and efficient transportation, urbanization, and the development of complete communities.
Born and raised in North Vancouver, James now lives in Lower Lonsdale where he values the proximity to amenities, transit, and recreational opportunities. James enjoys spending time with family and friends, his family dog, Amber, volunteering in the community, and exploring the North Shore’s many parks, trails, and restaurants.
